Easy drinking, perfect for parties!

Temptation Zinfandel tantalizes with captivating aromas and seduces with alluring flavors.  At harvest Kevin Hall selects the grapes that showcase bright berries and spice from our three favorite zinfandel regions for the easy drinking, casual wine.

The western drought continued in 2015 and was once again the topic of much discussion.  A cool spring, rain at bloom and hot July along with the continued effects from the lack of rain contributed to lower yields.  As a result the grapes had terrific concentration and superb fruit flavors at harvest.  Each lot was de-stemmed, fermented separately, then aged in American oak barrels for 15 months.

The Suisun Vally (81%) Zinfandel adds ripe jammy flavors, the Alexander Valley (13%) Zinfandel has elegant red flavors of raspberry and strawberry, while a touch of Dry Creek Valley (6%) Zinfandel brings a little structure and black fruit to the blend.

This purple hued wine has earthy aromas of plum, strawberry jam, fruit leather, black cherry and apricot.  There are ripe flavors of red cherry, blackberry, wild strawberry, cocoa powder and black pepper.  This mouth-filling medium bodied wine is a crowd pleaser with a strucuted, juicy fruit finish.
