The Wetzel Family began planting olive trees in 1998 up the hill from the tasting room. Since then we have continued to plant additional trees. Today, we have about 700 trees across the family estate. We have planted a number of different varietals, including the traditional Italian olives - Leccino, Coratino, Pendolino, Frantoio, San Felice and Itrana, as well as Spanish olives - Arbequino, Manzanillo and Nevdadlillo and the classic California Mission. Today we harvest enough olives to produce a very small quantity of estate olive oil.
